Aaron Baldwin

Baldwin is a recognized American LGBTQ activist, who has led campaigns against LGBT workplace discrimination (Cirque du Soleil, Target and Rockstar Energy Drinks), affordable access to HIV medications (treatment & prevention), marriage equality and environmental justice.

Since becoming HIV positive in 2000, he’s taken a significant role in the HIV/AIDS movement. Confronting HIV discrimination in the workplace, serving on the National Board of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), starting the first HIV Positive Financial Planning practice in America, helping to launch the first firm to offer life insurance to the positive community, serving as the expert witness in the landmark HIV prevention (PrEP) discrimination GLAD v. Mutual of Omaha legal case, and serving as the administrator of San Francisco’s HIV/AIDS Provider Network (HAPN).

In recent years, Baldwin has been working to raise awareness of LGBT-related environmental issues resulting from climate change.

Being a 365 Champion provides a global platform to address a host of issues impacting the LGBT community, like pinkwashing and the green stripe in the rainbow flag.
