Prior to terming out, Brett Hayhoe served on the Board of InterPride for twelve years. Initially as a Regional Director for region 20 before he was elected in 2010 as Secretary and then the maximum four years (2 terms) as Co-President. He also served as Co-Chair of both the WorldPride and Communications Committees for the majority of this time. His community work in Melbourne, Australia spans over twenty years where he has served on the executive, as Secretary and President for many organisations including PLWHA VIC (People Living with HIV/AIDS Victoria), GALTA (Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia) and Pride March Victoria. Professionally, he is Publisher and Editor of Australian LGBTI Lifestyle Magazine, Q Magazine.
