A specialist in international travel, tourism and education, Danny Waine is Founder of Travel Nomads, Vice Chair of the Institute of Travel & Tourism (ITT) and Co-founder of the successful ‘Future You’ careers in aviation, travel, tourism and hospitality initiative.

Launched in January 2025, Travel Nomads is a remote-based B2B consultancy service, dedicated to helping travel entrepreneurs succeed, working with a portfolio of clients across the travel and tourism ecosystem.

Before founding Travel Nomads, Danny was Head of Membership at ABTA – The Travel Association, having joined in 2020 to support travel businesses struggling through the Covid-19 pandemic and its subsequent recovery.

Previously, Danny was part of the commercial team at Swiss holiday home specialist Interhome Group, which was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hotelplan Group. Prior to that, he led the international sales at Italian fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni London, joining after 10 years as Co-founder & Director at overseas wedding specialist, Perfect Weddings Abroad; becoming the first travel company in the UK to offer same-sex weddings abroad.

An advocate of diversity and inclusion, regular moderator and keynote speaker, Danny has been a huge supporter of emerging talent in the travel sector, winning the Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) ‘Male Ambassador’ Award in 2021 and shortlisted for the ITT ‘Mentor of the Year’ in 2020.
