Rene Fet

Rene (they/them) are a Luxembourg-based nonbinary transmasculine LGBTQ+ rights activist and political refugee, originally from Russia, who have organized numerous public actions and campaigns to fight discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Rene were one of the organizers of Moscow Pride, banned by Russian authorities since 2006.

In 2015, because of persecution from the authorities, Rene forced to relocate to Luxembourg and got a refugee status.

In recent years, Rene have been working to raise awareness of building a trans-inclusive culture in the workplace and speaking out about LGBTQ+ rights at events.

Rene is very proud to be a Champion of Pride 365 Certified because they want to contribute to positive changes for the LGBTQ+ community and they believe that only businesses with unspoiled reputations which are not involved in supporting state-sponsored homophobia, including in third countries, are worthy of receiving benefits from the LGBTQ+ community.
