Signing up to Pride 365 is important to us because it reinforces our commitment to building an inclusive, respectful, and representative workplace for all colleagues.
As an organisation with a strong social purpose, we recognise that inclusion is not a one-time initiative but an ongoing commitment. Pride 365 provides a structured framework to help us continue progressing, hold ourselves accountable, and ensure we are creating an environment where LGBTQ+ colleagues feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
It also enables us to strengthen our external impact by ensuring our behaviours, policies, and culture reflect the diverse communities we serve, aligning with our broader ambition to be a responsible and inclusive business.
How does the Pride 365 pledge fit in with your values?
The Pride 365 pledge closely aligns with our values-led culture, particularly our “kind-hearted” value, which emphasises empathy, fairness, and respect for others.
Inclusion is embedded within how we operate — from how we recruit and support colleagues, to how we engage with customers and the wider community. The pledge reinforces our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued for who they are and can contribute fully, regardless of background or identity.
It also strengthens our existing efforts, such as our inclusion-focused initiatives, leadership behaviours, and colleague engagement programmes, ensuring that inclusion remains a visible and active priority across the organisation.
Ultimately, Pride 365 supports us in turning our values into consistent, measurable action — helping us build a culture that is not only inclusive in principle but inclusive in practice.
The Pledge
Commitment 1
We will be public and open in support of LGBT+ inclusion 365 days a year by promoting our partnership with Pride 365. We will apply the Pride 365 designation across company websites, social media, corporate communications and public relations activity. We will do this 365 days a year and not just during Pride season.
Commitment 2
We will support a nominated LGBT+ charity through donation or time/resource allocation to demonstrate our commitment to the community all year round. (Note: Pride 365 recommends the InterPride Solidarity Fund that helps to set up Pride’s in hostile territories.)
Commitment 3
- Conduct interviews with the CEO and senior leadership detailing the importance of, and commitment to the Pledge and the partnership. “What is Pride365 to you?”
- Release a CEO statement expressing commitment to inclusion and the partnership with Pride365.
- Ensure that our supply chain is also committed to authentic support and inclusion.
- Create an Ally and LGBT+ Network.
We pledge that these commitments will be carried out by 2029-06-05.
