Why signing up to Pride 365 is important to us?

As a holiday provider, our aim is to put a smile on our guests’ faces 365 days a year. We believe that happy employees make for happy guests and happiness comes from the freedom to inexplicably be true to oneself, both in the workplace and on holiday.

Our ships are home to hundreds of thousands of guests and crew from all over the world and it’s immensely important to us that all these individuals know that they are welcomed and included by Royal Caribbean International. That is part of how we build a great work environment and create joyful and memorable experiences for our guests around the world.

At Royal Caribbean, we believe that our differences make us stronger. We are committed to cultivating a trusting environment where all ideas are welcomed and where employees feel comfortable and empowered to have meaningful discussions — a place where they know they belong. 

The Pledge 

The Pledge: We pledge to play our part in improving inclusivity in the workplace and society. We are committed to cultivating both a workplace and a holiday destination where all are welcomed and can feel comfortable and empowered to be their true selves.

We have made the following commitments:

Commitment 1

We will be public and open in support of LGBT+ inclusion 365 days a year by promoting our partnership with Pride 365.  We will apply the Pride 365 designation across company websites, social media, corporate communications, and public relations activities. We will do this 365 days a year and not just during Pride season.

Commitment 2

We will support a nominated LGBT+ charity through donations to demonstrate our commitment to the community all year round.

Commitment 3

Issue press releases to support the partnership with Pride 365; raise awareness for the work of nominated charities; and promote inclusivity in the workplace and society.
